Taking the Mysticism out of the Bird

About

ScottWHello and welcome to The Mystic Bird. I created this blog to share ideas and experiences concerning web design, hosting, Linux and the things that go along with them. Maybe a rant or two occasionally and life in general will get tossed in here on occasion.

But first…a little about me:

I am an avid Linux user. Ubuntu is the “distro” or distribution if you prefer, I use and it’s just awesome. I also use Windows on occasion for some things but mostly, I prefer Ubuntu over Vista because it just works. Windows has it’s place but the more I use Linux, the less I use windows.

To sum things up, I enjoy the web and learning new things about web development and Linux. Being able to create and develop something from a simple idea and coax it along to fruition is just plain cool. The same can be said for creating your own operating system by tweaking the code that drives it. These are some of the things I like to do and I enjoy it.

If you should come across a post that you find interesting or have more information about, by all means, leave a comment. I’d like to hear from you about it. The more people share information about things such as the ones I mentioned, the more we all can learn from it.

Or, if you prefer to contact me directly, you can email me at scottw@ this domain name.

Notice: This blog used to be called Merlins Minute. Due to reasons beyond my control at the time, I had to save what I could of the database and files and re-create things under this new domain (The Mystic Bird). Sorry for any confusion but I’m working to get all links corrected asap.

Thanks for reading! :)
