This ought to hit home for most of you. Customer Support Call Centers! Just where the heck are they?
Well, I had an interesting experience today with Belkin’s out-sourced call center(s). First, the fella answering the phone (each time a different person) claimed to be “Ken” from Virginia. Ken, huh? From Virginia? Suuurrree he is. Odd accent they have in Virginia these days. Almost has a middle-eastern twang to it.
Well, aside from this guy outright lying to me about his whereabouts, he proceeds to ask me questions straight from his script (err, book maybe) that have no relevance to my issue (the darn usb adapter refuses to work without having to repeatedly uninstall it and then reinstall it again) of continually having little to no internet access. more…

Evidently, a lot is at stake in a name. Especially the name of a web site. It (hopefully) should be easy to remember, roll off the tongue and be kinda catchy. With all the sites out there today, this is no easy feat!
There are literally millions of web sites on the internet today. Millions! There are going to be headaches in store for anyone trying to come up with a good, catchy domain name these days. A fella by the name ofDave Zan has loads of good info on domain names and is a good source for those who are looking for that just right domain name. I touched on this subject in a previous post but as for the reason why it’s being repeated again, well…I’ve decided to change the name of this one yet again.
Yes, I know. It will wreak havoc on the SEO but The Mystic Bird just sounds so right to me. So, the change is imminent. Just a matter of time. May re-work the overall look too when it’s all over and done. We’ll see.
